How to Tune Vehicle on ZombieVerter VCU

Select the vehicle platform you're converting. This configures CAN bus messages for instrument cluster, reverse lights, gear display, and speedo.

📖 What Does It Do?

Select the vehicle platform you're converting. This configures CAN bus messages for instrument cluster, reverse lights, gear display, and speedo.

💡 Tuning Tips

What each profile actually does:

  • BMW_E46 (0) — 3-series CAN (I-bus/K-bus). Cluster, reverse lights, gear indicator.
  • BMW_E6x+ (1) — 5/6-series CAN with MOST ring and iDrive.
  • Classic (2) — NO CAN dashboard. Uses 12V inputs for ignition, reverse, etc. Outputs tacho PWM.
  • None (3/4) — No vehicle integration.
  • BMW_E39 (5) — 5-series I-bus/K-bus CAN.
  • VAG (6) — VW/Audi CAN. Instrument cluster, MFD, gear display.
  • Subaru (7) — 2000s Subaru CAN.
  • BMW_E31 (8) — 8-series CAN.
    • 🚨 **Common mistake:** Selecting E46 for an E39 or vice versa = no dash communication. Select 'Classic' if your car has no CAN bus or you're doing a custom build.
